                 XLR cable innovation for the music industry and event industry 
 Swiss start-up develops next generation connection technology 
  For its new product line, Enova Solutions AG developed the patented “True Mold” technology. It merges the individual connectors and cable to a fully integrated, ready-made-cable. The first product of the EnovaNxt line is a microphone cable based on the widely used XLR standard.  
 Improving the manufacturing process instead of continuously trying to reduce the manufacturing costs 
 Like all other connectivity products in the entertainment industry, the existing ENOVA products are produced with the conventional, over 40-years-old manufacturing process, soldering standardized connectors to a standardized cable. Thus far all products in the industry are produced according to the same method and therefore all products have the same technical weaknesses. Enova Solutions was ready to face this challenge and started to question the conventional manufacturing process. The idea was born to develop a new manufacturing technology overcoming the weaknesses of the existing products. The result was the patented “True Mold” technology, which merges the different components of the connector and the cable to a fully integrated, ready-made-cable. Consequently, the product is more robust, more durable and better protected against dust and water.

 The first EnovaNxt product is a microphone cable based on the widely used XLR standard. It will officially be launched in summer 2022. The product is designed for on-stage applications and offers an improved production again dust and water. An important milestone for Enova Solutions, says Renato Jost, co-founder and CEO: “With EnovaNxt we are opening the next chapter in our young company history. Despite being a small Switzerland based start-up, with our power to innovate we are sending a strong signal and we are aiming to continue our international expansion.  EnovaNxt features and benefits 
 Gold plated XLR contacts ensure an optimal conductivity, better corrosion protection and increased durability when mating frequently. As a result of the fully integrated design, the strain relief withstands a higher force than traditional types. The modern and slick design of the overmolding allows for an enhanced handling. Further the tapered design puts an end to drooping cables, often seen on stage, in studios and in broadcasting. The new EnovaNxt microphone cable features an interchangeable color coding ring (available as accessory in 9 colors by end 2022). With this feature, event technicians and musicians can change the color coding of the cable at any time making cumbersome rewiring obsolete. EnovaNxt does not only stand for next generation products but it also stands for next generation packing. The new microphone cable features a recyclable point of sales packing. Compared to current industry norms, EnovaNxt does not use coated cartons, no labels and no glue. 
 Technical specification 
 EnovaNxt’s first product features a 2-conductor, shielded microphone cable and is based on the widely used XLR standard. The highly flexible, balanced analog microphone cable is overmolded with a XLR metal connector component. Further the cable has an outer diameter of 6.4mm and 2 x 0.22mm² conductor cross-section with a 98% copper braided shied. Launching in summer 2022, the Enova Nxt Microphone cable is available in seven different lengths (1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 10 and 20 meter).&amp;nbsp;
