They are one of the cost-effective series for multiple applications. There are different types of connections. The YM series is available as a power plug with 2, 3 and 4 contacts. The max. The rated current is 20 amps. The YM series is available as a multicore connector with 5,7,9 and 12 contacts. The 5 and 7-pole version is designed for max. 12 ampere nominal current. The 9 and 12 pin version is designed for max. 5 ampere nominal current. The series has gold-plated contacts, the connectors are available as cable versions or as chassis for installation on devices. An IP 67 protection class protects the connector against the ingress of water and dust.
The connector was developed for high mating cycles. That means you can often plug in and unplug the connector.
